Heat pump demo

This modified home exercise kit is for the illustration of the heat pump. The compressor powered by human muscles takes the coolant. Liquefies the coolant by high pressure and pushes the coolant into the left copper spiral. The spiral becomes warmer.

Through the expansion valve streams the coolant to the right spiral.

There is the pressure much lower, the coolant evaporates. The evaporation cools down the right spiral.
