When at at hot summer day the sun burns down on the roof, the difference in thermal insulation makes several degree Celsius difference inside.

This means in a poorly inuslated mobile home to sweat or to sit in the cold draught of the air condition.

At my fair visit August 24th 2007 was a hot and sunny afternoon. A patrol through all shown mobile homes with my infrared thermometer showed 2 to 3 degree Celsius difference between good and poorly insulated mobile homes.
