Urban planing: Turn of the parameters

Until now, more compression was the philosophy, but a turn around of many parameters goes in the opposit direction in favor for the people.



  Surface of a big building is smaller


Previously, a target was had been larger buildings with less surface per accommodation unit. When left, right, up and down is a neighbour apartment, heat can only be lost towards the facade. From this view point, a 100m² one family house has much more surface than a 100m² apartment in a skyscraper.

But better insulation up to the vacuum insulation makes this problem from old times - big buildings for less energy use per accomodation unit - complete insignificant.

  Surface of one family houses is larger


On a 9*9m house, it*s possible to put a 150 squaremeter roof. A roof to gain heat and electric power. Because the heating demand is by modern insulation technic, it's only important to yield as much electric power as possible, as much as possible area for this.

  GEMINI Project - double usage


The planning principle is double usage - the ground is used to yield solar energy and in the same time for the humans to live - created the name for the GEMINI Project.

One ground, it's not possible to built a better house there, it's not possible to built a better solar power plant there, the ground is double used.
